Dark, ugly, hypnotic and abrasive. Makes me think of a DXM trip in a dank sewer party somewhere. Unsure whether to dance or stare and drool on my shoes. I Love this album. Scott Baird

If you're looking for the sound of kindling dread and cold alienation, this is the album for you. I'm used to Deathbed Tapes' output being a sonic assault, and artists whose approach to sound is to invariably push it "into the red". This however is so much more subtler, it's gentler pace drawing-in curious listeners, enveloping them in it's all too intriguing darkness. Ben Harris

I caught S. English down at one of the SXSW sets recently and if you're into well-crafted, inventive, and danceable experimental-industrial music, you need this. I believe he has multiple efforts available, and this is a great place to start to explore his work. Eve McGivern
On his latest LP, Buffalo, NY artist Jeff Stadelman creates rippling electronic compositions that crackle and weave. Bandcamp New & Notable Jun 27, 2021

I cannot praise this album enough. This album is absolutely terrifying! The many starts and stops creates this very h settling tension. Each start expands on the stopper idea previously. Itβs like the music equivalent of walking through thick fog while passing out multiple times throughout trying to find a place to orientate yourself. There may or may not be something sinister in that fog, but you donβt want to stick around to find out. Bought the vinyl so I summon the fog demons through spe showhornwithteeth
