Dark, ugly, hypnotic and abrasive. Makes me think of a DXM trip in a dank sewer party somewhere. Unsure whether to dance or stare and drool on my shoes. I Love this album. Scott Baird
If you're looking for a friendly way into the Opal Tapes catalogue I'm afraid there isn't one. However, this is a great (and very decently priced) introduction to the distinct sound this label has made its own with some fantastic slices of techno. AJ.
